We are picking our own lettuce, beats, onions, kale, beans, squash, peppers, cucumbers and so much more. If you are interested in freezing or pickling NOW is the time. How many times have you been too late to get the vegetables you want to put away for the winter, well this is the time to start those projects. It may seem to hot but think of how wonderful they will taste when it's cold outside.
