Local mushrooms are now on our shelves as well.
Plus, we're still carrying the sodas, salad dressing, tomato sauce and pies you remember.
And, we now have a line of chocolates available made with real fruit.
That's right... the chocolate covered cherries and cranberries are actual dried cherries and cranberries dipped in delicious chocolate.
Appointments encouraged. Book on line or by phone.

Our own CORN is here...

So remember to bring your mask and come on by.
We are still limiting the number of people inside the farmstand, so we do
encourage appointments. But we'll never turn a walk-in away.
Sign up on-line in advance or by phone day of

Swing Into Summer!
The farm is in full swing, with our own beets, greens, pickling cukes, summer squash, zucchini, and a lot of other veggies, more each week. What we can't pick yet, we bring in from the most local source we can find. Stop by to enjoy your summer with fresh veggies!
To be sure there's no need to wait your turn you can make an appointment
on-line, in advance, through the link below. Or call us (603-882-4032) the
day of your visit and we'll schedule you over the phone.
Of course, you can still stop by anytime without an appointment but you
may have to wait as we're limiting the number of indoor shoppers for
everyone's health and safety.
We look forward to seeing you for your fruit and vegetable needs this summer. And hope you have a safe and fun holiday weekend.

We're picking zucchini, peas, snap peas, beets, radishes and a variety
of lettuces and other greens (Kale for example). And were buying in what
we aren't yet picking; always from as local or nearby as available.

Veggies Are Coming!
That’s right folks, we’ve got a plan and we’re about to put it into action.
Here’s what you need to know about vegetable shopping at Smith Farm this year
We will be opening up the interior of the farm stand on Thursday June 18th. But in order to do that we’ll need a couple of days to do a pandemic friendly make-over, so we’re taking 3 days off. We will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday June 15-17. Yes fully closed, even for plant/flower shopping. Sorry for that but it’s hard to get done the sort of work that will need to done without taking this step.
Appointments will continue. We’ll post an updated sign-up sheet with shorter appointments for Veggie shopping. To be clear: starting June 18th appointments will be for veggie shopping ONLY. You will not need an appointment if you are just flower shopping. If you will be visiting both the flower yard and the produce inside, we ask you to make your veggie appointment and try to come before that scheduled time for your plant shopping. And keep in mind we will not have the same room for walk-ins inside the farm stand (telling us you know Tom will not help you get around this problem, haha).
Masks are mandatory. I know, we don’t like them either, but we have many customers with many different lives and we want them all to feel safe and comfortable while here. So when you arrive and check in, we’ll remind you to put on your mask or provide one if you don’t have yours.
Hand washing or gloves will also be mandatory. After putting on your mask we’re insisting that you either visit our hand washing station or put on fresh gloves, which we will provide.
Many products will be pre-bagged. You have seen this tactic at farmers markets where using a scale can slow things down and make the need for small change even greater. So we’re trying a pre-bagging system. Many things will be bagged in to small units. This will prevent the ‘many hands squeezing one tomato’ scenario, thus ensuring the least number of hands on your food.
We take all the money. Cash, check and charge are welcome here!

Smith Farm Shopping Options
Hello, everyone! Appointments have been working out great and it's wonderful to see customers in the yard during this gorgeous weather.
If you want to shop, as usual, please make an appointment on SignUp Genius.
While curbside pickup has worked fine, we have not had enough sustained interest to keep that service going. We will no longer be offering curbside pickup before our open hours. We look forward to seeing you shopping in the yard!

Thanks everyone for using
our new shopping system in this new world. We’ve seen some of you
pull-in, see the sign and turn right around to go home and make an
appointment. But...
If the parking lot is empty and the door is open, please stop and ask if we have room for another shopper. If we do we will welcome you into the yard; if we are only minutes away from a full reservation hour, we’ll ask you to make that appointment and come back another time. But it never hurts to ask!
And don’t forget on-site pick up! Yeah that’s right, if you know what you need to get started this season from our world of flowers and veggie plants... write up a list and email it to:
SmithFarmNH@gmail.com
We’ll reply to your email with your total due by check, and tell you during which morning pick-up (Tue, Thu, Sat 9a-10a) your order will be ready at.
Thanks again for supporting us in these strange days.

Open For the Season
Life is different now. Until it
begins to shift back to normal, we’ve made some changes to help keep our staff,
our family and you, our customers, healthy. Please see below for details
Our
Hours. Since we will
be operating with a smaller staff for the time being, we will be open 10a-6p
M-F and 10-5p Sat and Sun. This will allow us time to clean, restock and get
our other farm work done so we can continue to bring you the Smith Farm goods
you want all season.
By
Appointment. Our
yard and parking lot are small and to make social distancing possible while you
shop we’re asking you make an appointment. Using the link provided (starting
Wed 4/15/20) please sign up for a shopping time. Each reservation is 1 hour,
and good for up to 4 adults with a manageable number of children (children
must stay with an adult at all times) in no more than 2 cars.
Sign-ups are now open! Click the button below to choose your date and time.
No Produce or Eggs. Our farm stand is even smaller than our yard and eggs are difficult for us to acquire right now. So we will be closing off the interior of the stand for the time being. Our register will be temporarily relocated and we’ll stay outside in the fresh air.
Checks
and Personal Responsibility. That’s right folks; dust them off. We are encouraging you to
pay by check. So bring your check book for a minimum contact experience. Gloves
and masks are encouraged, but if you don’t have access we have added a soap and
water sink station in the yard to help. And remember as you move thru the yard
try to keep some distance between you and the other shoppers. Our tables are,
conveniently, just over 5 feet wide.
Know
What You Need? Can
you make a list of the plants and flowers that will get your garden started
until things settle down? Great; put together a list and email it to us at Smithfarmnh@gmail.com . We’ll do
in-store pick-up (paid by check only) from 9a-10a Tuesdays, Thursdays
and Saturdays. Email us before 6p Monday, Wednesday or Friday and we’ll get
back to you with your monetary total before 10p. Then you can come by in the
morning with your already competed personal or business check and load up the
car.
We want to thank all of you for
bearing with us while we figure out the best ways to be here for you and for
continuing to support us, and other small, local businesses in these strange
times.
